The role of the E-portfolio


Nowadays, technology has shaped the shape the teaching and learning process.Assessment is a key element that back in the day was done in a systematic way. However, societies, government, and policymakers have moved on the assessment to a systematic and continuous form of students learning.

By hiring the continuous evaluation the moments are enhanced in which information is taken, throughout the process of teaching-learning, on the other hand, the continuous evaluation takes into account the whole process in that the training is permanent throughout life. It is a consequence of the permanent change of society (Bordas and Barrios 2000).

Competencies developed 

The term "competence" is understood as a set of knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired, developed and applied in the personal and professional field, which allow an optimal development and allows individual adjustment (Fenstermacher and Richardson, 2005, Hansen, 2008).

It is important to mention that in this course a series of competencies were developed over a period of three months. Additionally, the Dr. was an important pillar in the guidance of the acquisition of necessaries competencies
